Outstanding performance part of a historic day for Lamborghini in endurance racing Todd Blue, Founder and CEO of indiGO Auto Group, with award-winning dealerships in Houston, TX; Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage, CA; and St. Louis, MO; announced today that a Lamborghini Huracan GT3, racing under indiGO Auto Group sponsorship, finished an outstanding 13th in the GT Daytona class at the historic Rolex 24 at Daytona during the weekend of January 27-28. "This was a great weekend for indiGO Auto Group, along with our partners GRT Grasser Racing and Lamborghini," Mr. Blue said. "It was a great thrill to see a car carrying our name perform so magnificently under such demanding conditions in one of the world's great races." The #19 car, one of two entrants in the GRT Grasser Racing Team, started in 47th position, at the rear of the grid, but made an impressive surge into the top 15 during the grueling 24 hours of racing. The team completed 739 laps on the 3.56 mile combined road course, which utilizes part of the legendary tri-oval used for NASCAR's Daytona 500 and an infield road course. In addition to its 13th place finish in the GT Daytona class, the indiGO Auto Group car finished 33rd overall. The Lamborghini Huracan GT3 was part of the GRT Grasser Racing Team, owned by Gottfried Grasser. The team's other car finished first in its GTD class, marking the first 24-hour class win for Lamborghini.
