This October marked the six-year production anniversary of Lamborghini's Aventador, and the brand is pleased to announce that they have produced 7,000 units in that timeframe. Lamborghini adds, "Chassis number 7,000 is an Aventador S Roadster, which was launched at the international auto show in Frankfurt in September. The jubilee model in Grigio Adamas rolled off the assembly line destined for the US American market." Additionally, the Huracan has been in production for three years now, and Lamborghini has created 9,000 of these models. Roger Dubuis has unveiled the new Lamborghini Excalibur Aventador S watch. This watch is the first dedicated to this new partnership. There will be two different models of this timepiece available. One of the models uses multi-layered carbon and the other model uses C-SMC, which is the same technology that is used in Lamborghini cars. The model with the C-SMC technology will come in Arancio Argos (orange) and will be a limited edition of only 8 pieces created. While the multi-layered carbon model will come in Giallo Orion (yellow) and will be limited to 88 pieces. According to Roger Dubuis, this watch works at a 2 x 4 hz frequency, making it more resistant to gravity. The long-awaited Lamborghini Urus is coming to Lamborghini in Houston, Texas. Urus is the first SUV that will soon be launched by Lamborghini. Ever since its founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, who is a Taurean, chose a bull as his company’s emblem, it has been a tradition to name the cars after famous fighting bulls or breeds. Lamborghini Urus is Named After the Most Fearsome Bull The Urus, is particularly named after Auroch, which is the biggest and most fearsome bull. It is the ancestor of the present-day bull, which went extinct in 1627. The Auroch was massive, ranging from 61 to 71 inches tall at the shoulders and weighing in at 1,500 pounds. So it is not a stretch to say the Urus is surely going to have incredible power. According to Auto Guide Urus will be the fastest production SUV to ever lap the venerable German circuit. more The fastest SUV to ever lap the 12.9-mile Nordschleife was the last-generation Porsche Cayenne Turbo S which hustled its way around the Eiffel circuit in 7:59.74. According to Lamborghini, Urus will be faster. Lamborghini's research and development chief Maurizio Reggiani says, “Our SUV will achieve more than 300 kph (187 mph) because it’s a Lamborghini. It’s our DNA. (We will) achieve the best lap time for an SUV on Nordschleife—this is a faster SUV.” Although the public has not seen Urus yet, there have been a few valuable hints coming in from its test mule. Top Speed says the "camouflaged prototype sports a swoopy roofline, beefed-up rear wheel arches, wide side skirts, and a pointy nose." However, Lamborghini altered quite a few elements when it prepared the concept for production. Lamborghini is known for the exquisite and memorable vehicles in which they create. The LM 002 was one of the many projects taken on by Lamborghini that has left its mark in the world of cars. At the end of the 1970's, the American company MIT commissioned Lamborghini to design an off-road vehicle. At first, the project failed.
